SSI is seeking a Cyber Systems Test Engineer for a role in Colorado Springs, CO.
The successful candidate will support development and execution of enterprise Defensive Cyber Operations - Space (DCO-S) test, evaluation and analysis solutions, provide guidance and strategy on how to accomplish cyber T&E requirements for current and new/recurring cyber defense capabilities, coordinate with key stakeholders for cyber events, review test data to identify changes required to equipment, procedures, manufacturing, etc., draft and present test analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Manage the customer developmental test and evaluation program and collaborate on operational and/or integrated test and evaluation planning.
· Lead test and evaluation working groups and related teams on the formulation of test objectives, requirements, and plan development.
· Work with development contractors to ensure developmental test objectives are consistent with applicable standards, instruction, and policy.
· Work with Government developmental and operational test agencies/organizations to develop test methodology consistent with program manager and stakeholder expectations.
· Participate in test working groups which plan, status, and discuss test-related matters.
· Oversee planning and execution of requirements verification testing.
· Provide DevSecOps test support to both factory and site development and acceptance testing.
· Provide interface test support of an application with enterprise/infrastructure and software interfaces with external systems.
· Provide test support to both developmental and operational test and evaluation events.
· Develop, document, execute, and assess program test strategy and plans, test requirements, and scenarios for new contracts and/or contract modifications.
· Evaluate test plans and procedures and monitor their use during system testing.
· Provide testing subject matter expertise for incorporation of system elements during integrated system tests.
· Identify and report testing discrepancies, assess their impacts, and make recommendations on potential workarounds and fixes to ensure requirement verification.
\n- Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of related experience with:
- Supporting and/or managing test programs throughout the engineering life cycle.
- Defensive-cyber frameworks and systems.
- Scaled Agile Framework and/or DevSecOps development processes.
- Developmental Test & Evaluation (or Integrated Test & Evaluation).
- Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility, and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
- Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and be willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.
- Travel is 25% of the time.
- Master's Degree in engineering, computer science, math or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ITEA CTEP, INCOSE CSEP, SAFe, etc.).
SSI has a target salary range: $160,000 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
