SSI is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect (TS/SCI) to support our customer in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include:
· Supports development, acquisition, execution, and management of the SDA’s government-owned, contractor-operated cloud environments.
· Develop government reference cloud architectures and cost estimates to support the SDA’s Cloud roadmap initiatives.
· Anticipate future needs and design scalable architectures.
· Serves as the primary cloud subject matter expert for the SDA T3 program and supports the execution of Ground Segment contracts.
· Works with cloud engineers, developers, and external stakeholders to make certain cloud solutions meet SDA’s requirements.
\n- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud computing, including authentication methods and encryption standards.
- Knowledge of cloud application frameworks.
- Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction.
- Self-motivated, quick-thinking, and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- TS Clearance required. Must be able to obtain/maintain SCI.
- Master’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
- 10 years’ experience in cloud environments and associated elements.
