We are seeking an Operations Manager to serve as a key leader, guiding branch managers to success while maintaining company standards.
Position Overview: The Operations Manager serves as both a mentor and an enforcer. You will work closely with branch managers to provide support and strategic guidance while also holding them accountable for adhering to company policies. From driving sales growth and ensuring operational excellence to addressing ethical or safety concerns, you will be the frontline representative of Space Walk’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support to branch managers to help them achieve sales goals and operational excellence.
- Monitor inventory allocation, ensuring branches have the right products to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with branch managers to implement strategic sales plans.
- Identify areas of improvement and provide actionable coaching and development.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and ensure proper maintenance is carried out.
- Investigate and address serious policy violations, including theft, safety lapses, or failure to follow company procedures.
- Maintain consistent communication with corporate leadership regarding branch performance.
- Travel to various locations for on-site support, inspections, and in-person coaching.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to defuse conflicts and conduct difficult conversations with professionalism.
- Experience in sales management, operations, or business development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general business management software.
- Comfortable with occasional travel with overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in operations management, retail management, or multi-location oversight.
- Background in franchise operations or the rental industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
