Position Overview :
As our COO, you will be the strategic architect behind our operational framework, ensuring that Spacebourne’s vision is translated into actionable and scalable processes. This role is designed for someone with a robust background in aerospace operations, supply chains, and project management at scale, with the added benefit of a military background being highly favorable. While the position will start as a part-time advisory role for the first phase, it is critical to our journey and offers the opportunity to shape the future of an emerging industry leader.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Operations : Develop and implement operational strategies that support Spacebourne’s mission and align with our long-term goals, including securing NASA STTR grant funding in partnership with top universitites.
- Team Leadership & Advisory : Provide high-level operational guidance and strategic advice to the leadership team, ensuring that all departments are aligned with the company’s vision and growth trajectory.
- Process Optimization : Identify, implement, and optimize processes to streamline operations, drive efficiency, and enhance overall performance.
- Risk Management : Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring that Spacebourne maintains its competitive edge and adheres to industry standards and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with external partners, including our university partners and other key stakeholders, to advance project goals and secure vital funding opportunities.
- Operational Excellence : Monitor and evaluate operational performance, implementing data-driven solutions to improve outcomes and drive success across the organization.
