Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Mesh Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing wire mesh products in various applications, including construction, fencing, reinforcement, and industrial settings. The role requires precision, physical stamina, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install wire mesh according to project specifications.
- Secure wire mesh using appropriate tools, fasteners, and welding techniques if required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job site instructions.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and fastening of wire mesh for structural integrity.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet industry and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as needed.
- Transport and handle materials, ensuring proper storage and care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in construction, metal fabrication, or wire mesh installation preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic welding skills (a plus but not required).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor and indoor job sites, including construction sites, industrial facilities, and agricultural areas.
- May involve working at heights, confined spaces, or rough terrain.
- Requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
