Job Introduction:
The Operations Coordinator will require a high level of professionalism, flexibility, critical thinking, mechanical ability and time management. The Operations Coordinator is an additional resource to our operations team with activities to support our team in delivering the best-in-class customer experience. The Operations Coordinator will assist departments by working on the development of equipment resources, documentation and assisting with repairs and education of Spaceman equipment. In addition, they will be cross training for roles within in operation teams and assist with growing our team and service provider network.
Duties and Responsibilities:
At a minimum, this position will require the Operations Coordinator to master the operation, assembly, disassembly, preventative maintenance, part identification and troubleshooting for all models of Spaceman equipment.
This position will require the employee be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist Technical Service and Customer Success teams with tickets, dispatches, and calls during high volume periods.
- Travel to on-site locations such as customers and tradeshows as needed.
- Build rapport with service providers to grow our service provider network.
- Assist operations staff with equipment reports and part order fulfillment.
- Assist in-house HVAC technician with warehouse organization and packaging equipment.
- Coordinate and stock equipment crates designated for training and tradeshows.
- Assist with event management and tradeshow activities including materials, logistics and equipment operations.
- Collaborate and create equipment documentation, guides, and other materials for various departments.
- Complete electrical and mechanical repairs to Spaceman equipment.
- Assist in test kitchens for demonstrations, training and maintaining equipment.
- Create equipment videos, pictures, GIFs, documentation, etc.
- Provide on-site training and equipment troubleshooting for customers, dealers and service providers.
Qualifications:
At a minimum, this position will require that the employee have the following qualifications:
- Have basic mechanical or electrical repair knowledge to learn Spaceman equipment operation and provide technical support of equipment.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the US on short notice.
- Maintain and enforce a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse, office and with equipment in the field.
- Willing to complete an online course to obtain an EPA 608 certification
- Willingness to work with various teams to quickly learn Spaceman parts and accessories, part numbers, models and model numbers, etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn the operation, cleaning and technical support of all Spaceman Equipment to support techs and customers.
- Commit to learning Spaceman Sales practices, dealers, partners, vendors, etc. to provide the best-in-class customer experience.
Working Conditions:
The working hours may vary day-to-day based on travel schedules and business needs. The employee will work in a combination of standard warehouse conditions, equipment test kitchens, interior office space, customer locations and tradeshows.
Physical Requirements:
To adequately perform the duties of this position the employee is regularly and routinely required to be physically active and sit; stand, walk, stoop, use hands and fingers, and be able to hear, see and talk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
