Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Intermediate Interior Designer to contribute to a variety of exciting design projects. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to our team. Responsibilities:
- Transform client visions into stunning design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Create compelling design presentations, mood boards, and renderings that inspire and impress.
- Develop detailed space plans and layouts tailored to client needs and goals.
- Curate materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories to reflect clients’ unique tastes and lifestyles.
- Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of products.
- Track orders, coordinate delivery schedules, and oversee installations to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Handle delays or issues proactively, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with trusted vendors, contractors, and design professionals to deliver seamless projects.
- Schedule and coordinate with contractors and other team members to ensure efficient project execution.
- Ensure all project documentation, from specifications to proposals, is precise and client-ready.
- Communicate effectively with clients to maintain satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
- Conduct site visits and oversee installations to ensure flawless execution.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on residential or boutique commercial projects.
- Expertise in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- A keen eye for design trends, materials, and cutting-edge product options.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills, ensuring all projects stay on track.
- Exceptional communication abilities, enabling professional interactions with clients, vendors, and team members.
- A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
- NCIDQ certification or progress toward certification is a bonus.
