Job Position: Interior Designer
Job Type: Full Time Position – 40 hours/week Monday – Friday In Office

Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to establish the design, product specifications, and pricing for each project. The designer will collaborate with Sales, Project Management and Installation Teams to see projects through from programming to close out. The right candidate must be highly organized, energetic, hardworking, and possess the ability to multi-task, work with a team and balance several active projects.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
· Work with Sellers and Project Managers on new and existing client projects
· Utilize industry tools and programs such as AutoCAD, CET, and CAP to provide accurate floor plans, technical furniture specification and pricing in a code compliant manner
· Interface with clients, A&D partners and other trades as a professional consultant for furniture related questions and information sharing
· Understand and apply knowledge of current workplace trends
· Develop color and material presentations
· Communicate with manufacturers’ representatives to confirm pricing, discounting, lead times and availability
· Maintain a basic understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, electrical/data requirements
· Visit project site and verify field measurements
· Develop installation drawings
· Understand and apply knowledge of manufacturer contracts including purchasing co-operatives, GPOs, and project/client specific special pricing
· Attend site visits and OAC meetings as needed
Requirements
· Graduate of a four-year design program or equivalent work experience with a 2-year degree
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
· Excellent organization and time management skills
· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
· Ability to work both with a team and with minimal supervision on heads down processes
· Possess a high level of professionalism and maintain the high ethical standards expected of all our associates
· Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, CET and CAP as well as presentation software such as Canva and Power Point
