What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mercedes-Benz Interior Dismantler/Technician position at SpaceShip Wraps?
Responsibilities:
- Carefully dismantle the interior components of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including seats, dashboards, door panels, trim, and electronics, to prepare for customization or replacement.
- Work with the customization team to remove existing parts without causing damage to the vehicle’s interior, especially when working with high-end materials like leather, Alcantara, or wood trims.
- Assist in the reinstallation of custom or aftermarket parts, ensuring a seamless fit and finish.
- Perform detailed work on luxury interiors, ensuring that all components are reassembled to factory specifications or improved with custom finishes.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest Mercedes-Benz models and their unique interior configurations to avoid any issues during the dismantling process.
- Work closely with the design team to help implement custom interiors, such as custom upholstery, carbon fiber panels, and advanced multimedia systems.
- Ensure all tools and work areas are organized and safe, following industry standards and maintaining vehicle integrity during the dismantling process.
