STARLINK INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER (AVIATION)
We are leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the world's largest satellite constellation and provides fast, reliable internet to 4M users worldwide.
We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system - thousands of satellites, consumer receivers that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We've only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink's potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class engineers to help maximize Starlink's utility for communities and businesses around the globe.
Responsibilities
- Design, activate, and operate test hardware and equipment to evaluate component and system performance for various mobility network applications
- Troubleshoot hardware issues real-time, push feedback to correct owners to eliminate repeat issues
- Aid in investigations and root-cause analysis of any non-conformances, and work with responsible engineers to develop test requirements for flight hardware, driving hardware and system design improvements
- Work with teams across disciplines including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to conceptualize and develop test systems required to test Starlink hardware
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline or 4 years of professional experience in a mechanical design, manufacturing or integration & test environment
- 1 years of professional experience in a mechanical design, manufacturing or integration & test environment (internship experience is applicable)
