About the role: As a Housekeeping Associate at SSC, you are responsible for handling all routine office duties and guest service requests. The person who fills this role will work closely with the General Manager (GM), maintenance, grounds, front desk crew, and other team members. This position is one of the faces of the campground and requires a highly organized individual with excellent customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude! This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the campground.
What You’ll Do
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and stocking tasks as assigned by management.
- Clean and tidy all accommodations and common areas to meet our high standards within designated timeframes.
- Ensure housekeeping activities do not disrupt guests' enjoyment of facilities and amenities.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and office supplies in good working condition.
- Assist with ordering and inventory management of cleaning supplies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to support smooth operations.
- Uphold campground policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment with your team.
Participate in regular campground duties and assist with special projects as needed. - Address any housekeeping or maintenance issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.

What We are Looking For:
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or related industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in campground management software and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
- Knowledge of local attractions and outdoor activities is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stimuli, guest-focused environment
- Excitement to work in a collaborative and ever-evolving environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects, assignments and obligations
- Motivated by friendly and/or healthy competition
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Bilingual in either Spanish or French a major plus
Education/Experience:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years customer service experience and exceptional customer service skills
- Customer service attitude
Accommodations/Working Conditions:
The Housekeeping Associate is a hybrid position the can work at the front desk if/when called upon. This position is primarily responsible for cleaning the camp store, lodging and amenities which require staff to work with cleaning chemicals and supplies. They are required to perform repetitive tasks using housekeeping tools and other machine as well as a computer and other office machinery. They will deal with many customer inquiries, check-ins and check-outs and needs to maintain composure and professionalism at all times. This position requires the employee to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time on a regular basis. The employee must be able to perform a variety of tasks, some repetitive, and will be required to walk, sit, stand, lift, bend, etc., in the fulfillment of their job responsibilities.
