The SpaDerma brand is highly creative, youthful, and innovative. In order to enhance our brand we are seeking an energetic and experienced Social Media Manager and content creator to manage and create content for all social media accounts. This position is a full time, hybrid role that is solely responsible for increasing followers and engagement by developing strategies across various platforms including but not limited to; instagram, facebook, youtube, threads, and tiktok. In addition to managing SpaDerma accounts, this individual will also be responsible for managing all accounts for sister brands. Currently consisting of, The Collective, our newest initiative dedicated to providing advanced education, training and a collaborative community within our industry.
This individual must be highly motivated and capable of initiating, developing, and executing social media campaigns and will be solely responsible for content creation. The Social Media Manager will work closely with over 50 Aestheticians and Injectors by providing advanced training and best practices in regards to social media as all providers are required to manage a personal SpaDerma instagram account. In order to capture content, the social media manager will attend all in-spa and offsite events oftentimes held during the evenings and weekends. They will assist the marketing team in planning and executing these events in addition to spa promotions, decor, and other promotional items needed.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, develop, and execute social media content across multiple platforms for multiple accounts.
- Develop, implement, and measure social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create engaging social media content for SpaDerma and sister brand, The Collective.
- Create and manage a content calendar and ensure timely and consistent posting.
- Manage and monitor social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, etc.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track success and identify areas for improvement.
- Curate user-generated content and engage with followers daily with direct message, comments, and emails.
- Identify trends and conversations for content creation opportunities.
- Attend events to capture content (1-2 events per month)
- Align and plan social content in collaboration with spa promotions and events.
- Engage and work with Influencers and PR for brand collaborations/giveaways.
- Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies
- Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers
- Use analytics tools to track the performance of influencer campaigns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing
- Coordinate and execute frequent photo and video shoots to capture content
- Work closely with marketing department, product and vendor reps, and photographers
- Train and lead team of 50 service providers on social media best practices
- Create, execute and manage paid social media campaigns and paid ad strategies
- Present analytics to executive leadership on a monthly basis while demonstrating growth in key metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven success with either professional or personal social media accounts will be required
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Significant expertise in social media, influencer and digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, cross-collaboration, and team skills
- Ability to solve problems both independently and as part of a team
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong understanding of social media trends and the ability to adapt to the quickly changing landscape of social media
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
- 2 years of experience in social media, with a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive awareness, growth and retention
