Position Type: Part-time/temporary with future potential for conversion to full-time permanent position.
Salary: <$45K (depending on experience)
Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office. (see on-site requirements below).
Typical Work Schedule: :2-3 days per week, 10-20 hours per week.
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
Must have completed 60 credits towards BA/BS in relevant subject/discipline, with 50% or 30 credits in that discipline AND a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Please attach a copy of your college transcript(s) with application. Unofficial transcripts accepted.

- On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Initial training will be mostly virtual, but may require occasional on-site visits during the first few months. Position may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD or Spalding Corporate Office
- Work as part of a software development team to assist in the design, development, testing, debugging, and implementation of applications and/or automations
- Work with a senior developer/mentor to assist in the any of the following:
- Front-end, back-end, or full-stack development
- Modernization of legacy applications
- Development of mobile applications
- Development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots to automate tasks
- Documentation
- Attend and contribute to daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings
- Maintain regular communication on project/tasking status with mentor and/or team lead
- Other duties as assigned or required
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field required
