Active secret clearance required. Interim secret clearance acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience.

- COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
- Coordinates, architects, and maintains Docker container and cloud native solutions
- Modernizes applications into microservices and assists with implementing API management tools
- Develops and manages effective deployment and migration strategies for software and application data through the deployment process (i.e. development, testing, staging and production environments)
- Work towards modernizing legacy applications to a cloud environment
- Ability to adopt new technologies and move them from the prototype phase through production phase for enterprise use
- Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications and Experience:
- BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience.
- Experience providing web applications development support required
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience required
- Agile software development experience required
- AWS Native Services, OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes, and/or Microservice experience highly desired
- Working knowledge of DevOps support processes desired
