Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Inforamation Security Analyst in Patuxent River, MD . Position Type : Full-Time / Contingent

Salary Range : starting salary $147K (depending on experience)

Work Location : Hybrid remote / in-office. (see onsite requirements below)

On-Site Requirements : On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training / tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site / telework requirements / schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions :

Plans, implements, upgrades, and monitors security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.

Ensures appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.

Responds to computer security breaches and viruses.

Reviews Risk Management Framework documentation.

Prepares documentation related to cybersecurity, including policies, memorandum and standard work procedures.

Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Experience providing information security analysis required.

At least three (3) years of experience performing work related to the labor category.

BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR has one of the identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications of : CHFI; CCSP; CEH; Cisco Certified CyberOps; CompTIA Security ; CompTIA Cloud ; CompTIA PenTest ; GCED; GFACT; GISF; or FITSP-O-NG required.

Security Clearance :

Active Secret or Interim Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
