We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to join our team, focusing primarily on reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts for our suite of web-based applications. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of technology contracts, including SaaS agreements, data processing addendums, NDAs, and other client and vendor agreements. This role is crucial in ensuring our contracts protect the business while supporting the speed and flexibility needed in a tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate contracts related to our web applications, including:
- End-User License Agreements (EULAs)
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Terms of Service and Privacy Policies
- Subcontractor and vendor agreements
- NDAs and partnership agreements
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with applicable legal standards, internal policies, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Collaborate with product, compliance, customer support, and leadership teams to ensure contractual obligations align with business goals and product functionality.
- Maintain and organize contract records using our contract management system.
- Track contract expiration and renewal dates, and assist with amendments and terminations as needed.
- Provide general legal support and guidance on commercial terms, risk mitigation, and liability issues.
- Support the onboarding of new vendors and clients by managing the contract process from initial draft through signature.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification or JD a plus.
- 2 years of experience in contract review and administration, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with legal terms related to software licensing, data security, and online services.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, Ironclad, Concord, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web application compliance and regulatory considerations (e.g., IRS compliance, HIPAA, etc.)
- Knowledge of U.S. contract law and international contracting considerations.
- Experience supporting a legal team or working directly with software development or SaaS teams.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
