About the Role: This entry-level role supports the estimating process for restoration and reconstruction projects, ensuring accurate scopes of work, cost assessments, and proposals.
Junior Estimator Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing detailed estimates for restoration and reconstruction projects, including water, fire, mold, and storm damage repairs.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess damages and document findings with photos and notes.
- Gather and analyze project costs, materials, and labor estimates based on industry standards.
- Work closely with the Senior Estimator and Project Managers to develop accurate scopes of work.
- Utilize Xactimate or other estimating software to create estimates and work orders.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project scope and pricing.
- Review job files, estimates, and documentation for accuracy before submitting for approval.
- Assist in preparing and submitting supplements for additional work as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and best practices in restoration estimating.
- Participate in Work in Progress (WIP) meetings to review project statuses.
- Maintain positive customer relationships through clear communication and effective expectation management.

Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in construction, restoration, or estimating (preferred, but not required).
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Experience with Xactimate, Symbility, or other estimating software (preferred, but training available).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
