GENERAL PURPOSE
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, responsible for refereeing adult Basketball games.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for refereeing adult Basketball games
Resolve problems and conflicts on site.
Exhibit and emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
Prepare reports and other written documents as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a non-benefitted position
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a strong knowledge of basketball (past or present high school basketball certification preferred) including rules, scoring procedures, fouls, and hand signals. Ability to move up and down the court with the flow of the game. Could require some bending and lifting. Watch for and call all rule violations and be able to communicate reason for violation. Ability to resolve problems and conflicts at game site.
SCHEDULE:
Adult Leagues on Monday evenings. Season runs November through middle of February.
