CONCESSIONS WORKER
DEPARTMENT : PARKS AND RECREATION
JOB CLASSIFICATION : PART TIME

GENERAL PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of the Concession Manager and a Snack Shack Supervisor, a snack shack worker will be responsible for food preparation and the operation of cash registers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Food preparation, cooking on grills and a variety of other concessions equipment.
Cleaning and sanitation of equipment, counters and floors.
Operation of cash registers, and balancing cash drawers.
Public relations and customer service.
Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality requirements for this position. Must abide by all city policies and procedures. Must work well with others and be a team player.
Applicants may be required to submit to a criminal background check and fingerprint report.
Other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and Experience : Experience in concessions preferred.
- Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Ability to work well with other employees and deal with difficult customers.
Special Requirements : Must obtain a food handler's permit. Must be at least 16 years old.
