We have a Spanish teacher position to cover from October to June for an afterschool program ONLY on Fridays (commitment for whole school year).
** Classes are afterschool from 2pm to 4pm for children ages Kindergarten to 2nd grade, in Forest Hills, New York.
We will train you in the use of our teaching methods, but teaching school aged children and/or preschool experience is preferred. You must LOVE working with kids AND you must be able to speak, read and write proficiently in Spanish and English.
*You will need a work permit*
SIW classes use music, movement, circle time, stories, games and art and crafts. The classes are high energy and the teacher needs to be very enthusiastic and be able to keep the children moving as well as keep up with them. Most activities are conducted on a carpeted area, so being able to get down on the children's level is important.
