Spanish Springs Pet Resort is looking for a dedicated and reliable Animal Care Attendant to join our team! If you have a passion for animals and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Position Overview :
Experience is preferred but not required – this is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement.
Starting pay : $15 per hour with overtime pay after 8 hours per shift.
Full-time and part-time positions available. (Part time is 2 days per week, full time 3 / 4.)
All shifts are 12 hours shifts (11 paid hours).
Shifts : 12-hour shifts from 7 AM – 7 PM, with a 1-hour lunch (12 PM – 1 PM) and two 15-minute breaks.

Key Responsibilities :
Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners.
Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing and cleaning the facility daily.
Ensure attention to detail in all tasks.
Write and respond to professional emails.
Review vaccine records for pets.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Sanitize all play yards and remove animal waste regularly.
Clean and sanitize food and water bowls.
Feed, monitor, and care for the pets in our facility.
Administer medications and complete necessary documentation.
Organize and relocate pets within designated areas as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members throughout the day.
Supervise pets in play areas to ensure their safety.
Maintain a friendly, positive attitude with both pets and clients.
Job Requirements :
Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
Ability to work with integrity and responsibility.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Janitorial skills to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
Ability to quickly learn animal behavior and body language.
Comfortable handling high-stress situations.
Basic computer skills and ability to write professional emails.
Physical & Special Requirements :
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to work in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wet).
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs (e.g., dog food bags, trash bags).
Comfortable working with animals of various temperaments and medical needs.
Strength to handle and control large dogs (some may pull on leashes).
Ability to maintain a safe and structured pack-play environment.
Strong ability to follow instructions and protocols.
