Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing appointment schedules, ensuring efficient patient flow, and providing exceptional administrative support within a dental office.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments to optimize scheduling efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and appointment details in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, answering phones and greeting patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, including reminders and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper flow of patients throughout the facility.
Experience
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a dental office is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using scheduling systems; experience with Dentrix is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
