Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL development, Power BI, SSRS, and Tableau to support a data migration project from SQL Server to Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for data analysis, reporting, and documentation of data objects to ensure a smooth and efficient migration.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze existing SQL Server databases, schemas, and data structures to support migration planning.

Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation,

Utilize Power Bi, SSRS, and Tableau to generate reports and dashboards that provide insights into data integrity, completeness, and migration status.

Document data objects, data lineage, relationships, and transformations for migration reference.

Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure seamless migration and adherence to best practices.

Perform data quality assessments, anomaly detection, and validation checks to ensun iccuracy post-migration.

Optimize SQL queries and performance-tune reports for efficiency in handling large datasets.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for reporting and data-related issues. Requires Skills & Qualifications:

5* years of experience in SQL development with strong knowiedge of T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.

Hands-on experience with Power Bi, SSAS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

Experience with data migration projects, particularly from SQL Server to cloud-based storage solutions (Azure Data Lake Storago - ADLS preferred).

Strong understanding of data Modeling. ETL processes, and database structures.

Proficiency in data documentation, lineage tracking, and metadata management.

Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive business insights.

Experience in working with large datasets and performance tuning for reporting solutions. Knowledge of Azure Data Services (ADLS, Synapse, Databricks) in a plus.
