We are looking for an energetic Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and bookkeeping tasks in an industrial manufacturing environment. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include supporting Customer/Vendor relations, Project Data collection, AP, Cost Tracking, and supporting our management team in our company’s general administrative/information tracking activities. Other responsibilities include maintaining appropriate filing systems and preparing projecting tracking reports . The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be self organized utilizing tools, like MS Office, typical office equipment and be willing to take responsibility of their work. 4 years of QuickBooks experience required and experience in Jobboss helpful, but we can train.
Responsibilities
- AP & AR and Balancing of accounts
- Cost Tracking
- Customer account management for specific customers
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
Skills
- Proven experience as an Bookkeeping and/or Administrative Assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
