Duties/Responsibilities:
- Shipping & Packaging:
- Pull, inspect, and package finished goods per customer specifications
- Prepare packing lists and shipping documents in Visual ERP
- Coordinate with department managers and carriers for shipments
- Ensure proper packaging to minimize damage
- Receiving & Inventory:
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records through Visual ERP
- Perform cycle counts and ensure storage area organization
- Outside Services & Purchasing:
- Create and manage POs for outside services
- Coordinate with vendors and monitor delivery timelines
- Support vendor qualification and cost savings initiatives
- International & Domestic Logistics:
- Prepare documents for international shipments
- Arrange pickups, deliveries, and communicate tracking to customers
- Manage customer pickups and ensure timely drop shipments to other locations
- Driving & Delivery:
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries
- Maintain delivery schedules, accurate paperwork, and vehicle cleanliness
- Follow SPS and customer site safety protocols
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years in a shipping/receiving role
- Experience with international shipping processes
- Strong basic math and unit conversion skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Management ability and good judgment in problem-solving
- Accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
- Timely material handling to prevent production delays
- Maintenance of 5S standards and compliance with all safety protocols
- Proactive communication of issues and participation in process improvements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently, up to 90 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
Salary : $25 - $30
