What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Manager - Colchester, Vermont position at Spare Time Entertainment?
Job Responsibilities
- Interact professionally by using Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.)
- Provide functional supervision to the mechanics and pit crew.
- Train pit crew, mechanics, and other lane maintenance personnel; delegate work, monitor progress, and evaluate results.
- Meet with the General Manager each week to review projects and budgets.
- Provides oversight for the general upkeep of the building, grounds and machinery and troubleshoot when things go wrong.
- Manage vendor relationships for building, machine related components and landscaping.
- Maintain an inventory of all equipment and parts; maintain related records.
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance functions, change air filters, clean coils in accordance with established company procedures and schedules, including mopping, toweling, stripping, oiling/dusting approaches.
- Ensure basic facilities such as water and heating are well maintained and are the first contact for utilities and communications infrastructure issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, perform visual inspections, and remain alert for signs of faulty equipment/machinery.
- Perform A.P. (Approach Patrols) at least once each shift, to check for potential approach hazards, and log.
- Keep machine area orderly and safe.
- Maintain, repair, and adjust all machines and equipment - pinsetters, automatic scorers, foul units, vending machines, kitchen, and lounge equipment.
- Review lane call books daily to identify and resolve problems.
- Develop temporary solutions to equipment problems to minimize down time until a permanent solution is available.
- Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
For locations with Amusements:
- Perform daily walk through of the game zone to ensure equipment is in working order.
- Create and administer daily and weekly tests of all games operations to make sure all games are functioning properly each day.
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all machines and equipment including arcade games, laser tag equipment, escape room equipment, and teller machines etc. to resolve all issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all issues related to laser tag functions, escape rooms and teller machines.
- Communicate with Amusement Manager/Supervisor and Center Management regarding concerns with game zone equipment.
