Facility Technician

ABOUT US:

Spare Time Texas is a locally owned Texas-based entertainment company specializing in bowling, arcade, laser tag, dining, and events. The company first opened its doors in Temple, TX in 2013. The second center opened in Pflugerville, TX in December 2015. We strive to provide outstanding facilities, outstanding products and outstanding service at a fair price for the communities we serve.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports directly to the Facilities Manager; Interfaces primarily with team members and other management staff.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on facility equipment (games, bowling, audio/visual) and systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc).

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES:

· Perform maintenance and upkeep on all video/arcade games

· Maintain and upkeep laser tag arena and equipment

· Respond to equipment malfunctions; clear and repair as necessary.

· Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions by studying equipment manuals.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

· Service bowling lanes and equipment.

· Record service and malfunctions in specified logs.

· Maintain all lighting and sound equipment for bowling area.

· Communicate with staff regarding equipment malfunctions.

· Assist with building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)

· Maintain all tools and repair equipment.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Basic mechanical and electrical skills valuable but not required.

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· High level of organization

· Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted

COMPENSATION:

$15.00-$19.00/hr DOE.
