We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on residential properties, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Execute facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Supervise maintenance staff when required, providing guidance and leadership to ensure quality work.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or management, prioritizing tasks effectively.
Skills
- Proficient in residential painting techniques and practices.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs safely.
- Excellent command of the English language for effective communication with team members and residents.
- Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on preventative measures.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Leadership skills to supervise a small team of maintenance staff when necessary.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient management of maintenance tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter.
