Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance duties as needed to support overall cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide porter services by transporting materials and supplies within the facility.
- Occasionally assist with residential painting projects when necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures as needed.
