Position Objectives: We are looking for an experienced and strategic hospitality Asset Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of our hotel properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management, financial analysis, and hospitality operations, with a focus on maximizing profitability, value, and overall asset efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Performance Optimization
- Analyze and monitor the financial performance of assigned hotels.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and asset value.
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct regular financial analysis, including revenue management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Attend weekly revenue calls and monitor forecasts.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management and ownership.
- Approve annual budgets and ensure they deliver sufficient cash flow for investor returns.
Operational Oversight
- Collaborate with hotel management teams to ensure properties operate efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess operational standards and areas for improvement.
Capital Planning and Management
- Develop and oversee capital expenditure plans and renovation projects to enhance asset value.
- Ensure alignment of capital projects with strategic goals and financial targets.
Asset Valuation and Investment Analysis
- Conduct property valuations and market assessments to identify opportunities for asset growth.
- Support investment decisions through detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify potential risks affecting asset performance and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Stakeholder Liaison
- Serve as a liaison between property owners, management teams, and stakeholders.
- Communicate asset performance updates and strategic initiatives to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
- 10 years experience as an asset manager in the hospitality industry or similar management roles.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth understanding of hotel operations and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in asset management and financial analysis software.
