Gymnastics Team Compulsory Coach

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gymnastics and a strong ability to educate and inspire young athletes. This role involves coaching students of various skill levels, fostering their physical abilities, and promoting a positive environment for growth and development in gymnastics.

Duties

• Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a safe training environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Lead and coach gymnasts at the developmental and compulsory levels
• Plan and execute training sessions with a focus on skill development, safety, and motivation
• Attend and support athletes at competitions during the meet season
• Work closely with other coaches to ensure a cohesive and supportive training environment
• Track and evaluate athlete progress, providing feedback and encouragement
• Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, discipline, effort, and a love for the sport

Requirements

• Previous experience coaching competitive team gymnastics, or a high level of personal competitive experience.
• Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, training, and safety.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively within a group setting.
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.27 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
