We are seeking a seasoned marketing and communications professional to spearhead effective marketing campaigns that support the advancement of academic discoveries in neuroscience from lab to clinic. As a nonprofit translational science organization, our focus is on building our brand and expanding our reach among biomedical researchers and other stakeholders in the global drug discovery and development community.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement thought leadership, educational, and promotional programs that increase visibility and understanding of our organization and grow our following among academic biomedical researchers and other stakeholders.
- Develop an editorial and multimedia content strategy, oversee content creation, and build a library of multimedia assets to support written content.
- Manage our LinkedIn presence and establish a presence on other relevant social media platforms.
- Initiate and manage ongoing email marketing campaigns to continually grow and validate our database of academic researchers.
- Oversee the design and production of digital and printed assets that meet high-quality standards and support our mission and programs.
- Support website updates, additions, and blog posts to enhance our visibility while ensuring consistency with branding and messaging.
- Track, monitor, and measure the effectiveness of online marketing activities by consolidating data from various sources and produce periodic reports with actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and 10-15 years' relevant marketing experience in a similar role.
- Excellence in developing and executing a broad range of marketing and communications strategies in mission-driven organizations.
- Strong knowledge of content development and SEO/SEM strategies.
- Experience with digital marketing analytics and familiarity with website analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
Working Conditions
This is an onsite position in Menlo Park, California five days per week. From time to time, travel domestically and internationally as required.
