Position : PLC Technician
Location : Plymouth, IN
Job Summary : The PLC Technician is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial automation systems, and electrical systems. This role ensures efficient operation of manufacturing and production processes, identifies areas for improvement, and provides technical support for system upgrades and electrical repairs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Programming and Troubleshooting o Design, program, and modify PLCs to meet production requirements.
- Troubleshoot PLC systems, identify faults, and implement solutions.
- Work with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems for efficient machine control. 2. Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with safety codes and regulations.
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical panels and control systems. o Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance and Repairs
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automation and electrical equipment.
Integrate new equipment and automation systems with existing PLC networks.
Adhere to company policies, OSHA regulations, and national electrical codes to ensure safe operations.
Work closely with management and production staff to ensure seamless operations.
