Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Credit Analyst
Location: Rochester Hills, MI (100% On-site)
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $25–$28/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Team Size: 13-person department
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable / Credit Analyst with experience in ERP systems (Oracle strongly preferred), Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), and a background in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Automotive or automation industry experience is a plus.
In this role, you will manage customer accounts, perform credit checks, process collections, and support overall receivables functions while engaging with internal and external stakeholders. This position is fully on-site in Rochester Hills and offers the potential for permanent hire.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable activities including invoicing, collections, and cash application
- Perform credit checks and risk assessments on new and existing customers
- Handle customer communication regarding payment status, outstanding balances, and credit terms
- Generate, update, and analyze reports using Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (Oracle or similar preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, customer service, and finance
- Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and escalate issues as necessary
- Support monthly and quarterly closing processes related to AR
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, or related financial functions
- Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data sorting/filtering)
- Manufacturing industry experience required; automotive or automation industry background is a strong plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
