Position: Inventory Associate
Location: Dearborn, MI
Pay: $50,000 - $52,000
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible)
Position Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate with a manufacturing background who can accurately count parts and enter part numbers into the inventory management system. The ideal candidate will have small-shop experience, strong computer skills (including Excel and ERP systems), and a proactive approach to inventory control.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory management including performing monthly stock counts to ensure production and shipping are adequately stocked and adjusting inventory to account for samples or non-conforming products.
- Make order recommendations to Project Manager based on product levels and demand
- Process tritium insertion orders by receiving them into inventory, creating assemblies, and monitoring flow through cleaning, quality control, and lasering. Communicate orders with production team to ensure timely scheduling
- Process NFA bundles and communicate work to shop for assembly.
- Receive and inspect RMA’s. Accurately report condition to customer service through FreshDesk
- Build products and BOMs for new inventory and insertion orders.
- Support production team with miscellaneous rework task
- Incoming product documentation and flow as well as oversight of product receipt and inspection.
Position Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory, purchasing, or related roles.
- Manufacturing experience required (small shop preferred; no large warehouse or union backgrounds).
- High School Diploma required
- ERP system experience
- Proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills.
