Job Description :
Set up and operate heavy hydraulic or light presses to produce axles, ensuring accurate temperature, pressure, and alignment for each operation.Inspect finished axles to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications, using measuring instruments and gauges as needed.Monitor press operations to ensure compliance with production standards and quality control.Conduct routine maintenance on press machines to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues as they arise.Assist in setup and changeover of press machines as needed.Follow detailed work instructions and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Sort and classify parts based on quality standards and specifications.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely production.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines.Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities for reporting and quality control purposes. Prior experience with forging machines and knowledge of axle manufacturing processes is highly desirable.Any and all other job duties as assigned.Requirements :
