Position : Inventory Control

Position Type : Direct Hire-Full Time

Location : Pineville, NC

Industry : Manufacturing

Pay : $20-$25

Shift : 1st shift

Position Summary :

Inventory Control is responsible for supporting all efforts relating to material inventory including receiving, , inventory audits, cycle counts, part fulfillment, The Inventory Control will regularly work with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Production Control in support of manufacturing activities.

Position Responsibilities :

Pull and issue parts to work orders, sales orders and as needed by production.

Uses the ERP system (Global Shop) to track, report and manage all part inventories.

Supports the efforts to address or resolve material shortages or production conflicts.

Is responsible for the execution of all inventories counts and material audits.

Is creative and proactive in increasing efficiencies for material handling and inventory processes.

Able to work in a fast-paced, high volume, time sensitive structure.

Contributes as may be requested in all aspects of the business to ensure strategic and tactical business goals and objectives are met

Position Requirements :

Understanding of multi-level BOM’s

Intermediate Excel skills and overall Microsoft Office skills.

Ability to communicate both verbally and written, with multiple parties about multiple projects in a clear and effective way.

Organized and detail oriented

Strong Ability to Multitask

Motivated self-starter, but also a good collaborator.

5-10 years of inventory control experience in manufacturing

5-10 years of experience in manufacturing

Global Shop experience preferred
