Job Title : Machine Tool Electrician
Summary :
We are looking for a motivated and talented Machine Tool Electrician to join our team. This position is responsible for device wiring, cable routing, debug, and hardware checkout. This individual must be able to perform their duties with little to no guidance or assistance from a Skill Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment. Attendance and punctuality is a priority.
Job duties include :
- Follow all SAFETY procedures and policies
- Read Electrical schematics and bill of materials (BOM).
- Familiar with wiring codes and requirements.
- Work with controls engineering departments
- Work with the service department as required, during installation and startup.
- Layout wire routing for new build
- Assemble and install multiple types of wireway and E-chain
- Understand and Wiring communication buses / blocks and smart devices.
- Cable routing through cableway, duct, cat track, and robot flex.
- Wire permanent and temporary power in the following 120V, 240V, 277V 480V
- Wire and dress out robots
- Wire safety circuits
- Verify and install device tags.
- Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication
- Communicate red line changes to Team Leader for revision prior to completion
- Ability to drill, tap holes
- The ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Perform OTHER duties as assigned or as needed.
