Prototype Press Operator
Hello, we are looking for an experienced Press Operator with a background in Prototype work to run our Presses. Job is a direct hire, and the pay is based on your experience level. See below for a brief description of what you would be doing on a day-to-day basis.
Shift Times for this Position :
1st Shift : 6 : 00AM to 2 : 30PM (8 Hour Days) and 6 : 00AM to 4 : 30PM (10 Hour Days) must be open to working up until 4 : 30 when needed. - (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
2nd Shift (Flexible Start Time) : 2 : 30PM – 4 : 30PM to 10 : 30PM – 2 : 30AM (Varies Between Start time and if we are working 8 Hours or 10 Hours) - (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
Job d escription :
- Running Prototype Tooling in Hydraulic and Mechanical Presses
- Experience in Prototype Sheet Metal.
- Must have hydraulic press experience working with Kirksite, Aluminum and Steel dies.
- Die barbering, die spotting, set up and development is required using 2, 3 and 4 piece die sets.
- Must be willing to develop and run prototype stampings which may include blank development and developing a prototype die process for others to follow.
