Position Summary for Robotic Weld Technician I Robot Programmer | Automation Technician :
We are looking for an experienced Robotic Weld Technician, Robot Programmer or Automation Technician
Shift Times for this Position :
- 1st Shift : 6 : 00AM to 2 : 30PM (8 Hour Days) and 6 : 00AM to 4 : 30PM (10 Hour Days) must be open to working up until 4 : 30 when needed. - (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
- 2 nd Shift (Flexible Start Time) : 2 : 30PM – 4 : 30PM to 10 : 30PM – 2 : 30AM (Varies Between Start time and if we are working 8 Hours or 10 Hours) - (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
- 3 rd Shift (Flexible Start Time : 9 : 30PM-11 : 30PM to 5 : 30AM-7 : 30AM (Varies Between Start time and if we are working 8 Hours or 10 Hours) - (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications :
Design, develop, and implement robot programs for various automation systems, including industrial robots, collaborative robots (cobots), and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).Collaborate with the automation engineering team to analyze client requirements and develop comprehensive programming solutions to automate manufacturing processes.Configure and customize robot software to meet project specifications, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.Integrate robotic systems with other equipment, machinery, and control systems to establish seamless automation workflows.Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of robotic systems to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operation and high reliability.Optimize robot trajectories, motion profiles, and coordination between multiple robots to achieve efficient and precise automation tasks.Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, programming guidelines, and user manuals for robotic systems.Provide technical support to clients during installation, commissioning, and post-implementation phases, addressing any programming-related inquiries or concerns.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance programming techniques and expand the company's capabilities.Strong programming skills in robot-specific languages, such as RAPID, KUKA Robot Language (KRL), or Fanuc's TP programming language.Proficiency in industrial robot programming and integration, with experience in programming various robot brands and models (e.g., ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Motoman Robots).Solid understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control theory.Familiarity with automation technologies, including vision systems, sensors, and PLCs.Experience with offline programming (OLP) software and simulation tools (e.g., RoboDK, RobotStudio) is highly desirable.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet / IP, Profinet) and robot-to-PLC integration techniques.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve programming issues efficiently.Robot Brands - ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, Panasonic, OTC, Motoman and More

Compensation Range :
Hourly : $38.00 to $50.00Time and a Half of Hourly Range after 40 Hours
