Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for all occupants. This role is essential in providing high-quality custodial services and will involve both routine cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned, such as deep cleaning or post-event clean-up.
• Ensure all areas are left in a clean and orderly condition after completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina; must be able to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the shift.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $11.80 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
