Responsibilities

- Perform animal catheterization when necessary, following aseptic techniques to minimize infection risks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, bathing, and exercising pets as required.
- Monitor animal behavior and health status, reporting any changes to the veterinarian promptly.
- Educate pet owners on proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Handle dogs and other animals safely and effectively during examinations or treatments.
- Assist with record keeping, including updating patient files and managing appointment schedules.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology is essential for understanding medical procedures.
- Familiarity with animal husbandry practices to ensure proper care of various species.
