What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Analyst position at Sparks Group?
Sparks Group has partnered with a prominent healthcare facility in Washington, DC. Together we are recruiting for a Compensation Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the administration and planning of the employee compensation program to ensure the most competitive and strategic compensation practices. This role involves maintaining collaboration and effective partnerships by providing analysis support to various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support an organization-wide career architecture effort.
- Collaborate with different functional leaders/areas to review their current state and align to new structure (titling and leveling).
- Partner with a project lead to assist with the organization-wide compensation restructure effort.
- Support job title and leveling meetings (combination of virtual and in-person when needed).
- Relay information between the Compensation team and other stakeholders as needed.
- Update mapping files, compensation manuals, and other compensation documents.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Analyst experience in industries such as human resources, finance, or other related specialties. Related internship experience considered (up to 6 months).
- Experience conducting analyses with large data sets in Excel.
- Compensation or financial analysis experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in an HR Compensation Analyst role.
- Proficient in Excel, including data analysis, data mapping, pivot tables, and exporting data from other internal programs.
- Strong Excel skills and solid compensation background (at least 2 years).
- Understanding and ability to apply fundamentals of career/job architecture design.

Pay Range: Hourly $31.00 to $32.00
