Sparks Group, in collaboration with our client, is searching for a talented Controller to help lead company growth. As the Controller, you will oversee accounting functions and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. You will play a key role in managing financial metrics (MRR, ARR, churn) and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making in a high-growth environment. You'll collaborate closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to optimize cash flow and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing, account reconciliation, and revenue recognition for subscription models (ASC 606).
- Analyze key metrics (MRR, ARR, churn) and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Manage internal controls, audits, and ensure financial integrity.
- Optimize cash flow and manage accounts receivable/payable processes.
- Collaborate with leadership and teams to develop financial strategies and foster growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification required.
- NetSuite experience required.
- Strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Proficient in financial modeling and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
