Grants Financial Data Analyst

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee payroll and effort allocation for sponsored projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., OMB Circulars).
• Collaborate with project managers, HR, and other stakeholders to accurately track and record payroll expenses and effort allocations.
• Support biweekly payroll processing and maintain accurate employee salary and effort allocation records.
• Perform and oversee manual adjustments to financial data, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of payroll and effort adjustments
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze complex financial data related to grants.
• Generate insightful reports to monitor spending, commitments, and project progress.
• Identify and explain significant trends or deviations in financial data.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in grants accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of grants management principles and regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to manipulate and interpret complex data. (Candidates will be asked to complete an Excel assessment and demonstrate Advanced Excel skills).
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and data visualization software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Salary $48,000.00 to $75,000.00
