Job Summary / Company :

Sparks Group and its client with a 60-year-old financial institution in Washington, DC, is in search of a motivated Member Services Representative and Teller, who will be responsible for a broad range of member service activities for members and staff as well as performing Teller duties, as needed. Ideal candidates will have experience with cash-handling and member services for a banking institution or credit union. Responsibilities :

• Provide a variety of services for members including receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, recording mail deposits, selling cashier's checks and traveler's checks in person or via phone, mail or email
• Perform account maintenance functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with the resolution of any issues with credit union products
• Cross-sell products and services by answering inquiries, informing members of new services and product promotions, and ascertaining members' needs
• Provide clerical / administrative support to the lending department
• Perform other duties as assigned

This job is In-Person.

Pay Range : Hourly $19.00 to $25.00
