Paid Search Specialist Job Summary:
We are seeking a Paid Search Specialist to join full-service digital marketing agency in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Paid Search Specialist, you will manage client campaigns across a variety of platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. You’ll be responsible for executing a variety of search marketing activities for the clients in your portfolio, including setting up ad campaigns, performing keyword research, analyzing results, monitoring budgets, reporting and more.
Paid Search Specialist Responsibilities:
- Publish, monitor, and optimize marketing campaigns for various clients on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee $100,000 per month media budgets.
- Optimize client accounts regularly to drive improved performance in KPIs through keyword research, bid strategy updates, and more.
- Analyze detailed advertising performance reports & analytics.
- Identify opportunities for client success through Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn.
- Work with account team to develop media plans to achieve specific client goals.
- Collaborate with internal team members.
- Research and develop strategies based on market trends, new Google Ads products and ad types, etc.
- Quality control - Review all ads and budgets for errors.
- Strategy & Innovation - Bring new ideas to agency management.
- Implementing and testing new products and strategies.
Paid Search Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field required, Google Ads certified preferred.
- 2 years of experience in search engine marketing and the Google Ads platform required.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Meta Ads and Google Ads is required, experience in LinkedIn and Pinterest preferred.
- Google Ads certification is preferred but not required.
- Paid channel attribution - understanding how paid channels apply conversion attribution, and different attribution models (last click/data driven).
- Experience running A/B, multivariate tests.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, and strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Prior experience with a project management system(s).
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
