Job Summary :
Are you a detail-oriented professional? We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a 3-6 month contract opportunity located in Arlington, Virginia. This is a fully in-office opportunity. If you are interested, apply NOW!
Responsibilities :
- Centralized Receiving : Accept and log incoming packages, ensuring accuracy in receiving records.
- Barcoding and Tagging : Apply barcodes and asset tags for inventory and tracking purposes.
- Internal Delivery : Ensure timely and accurate distribution of received items to internal end users.
- Freight Dock Coordination : Assist in scheduling and coordinating large shipments with internal teams and suppliers.
- PCARD Reconciliation : Support Buyers' purchasing card (PCARD) transactions by entering data and attaching required documentation.
- Expediting and Supplier Coordination : Partner with Buyers to follow-up with suppliers to track and expedite shipments as needed.
- Packing and Shipping : Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging and processing for hardware and other materials.
- Goods Receipt Entry : Perform basic data entry to record the receipt of goods in relevant procurement, property, or inventory systems.
- Returns and Exchanges : Facilitate returns or exchanges by coordinating between internal teams and vendors.
