What You'll Do
Responsibilities :
- Solution Design : Architect end-to-end API management solutions using the Apigee platform, considering scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- API Design : Design RESTful APIs, define API specifications, and establish API design best practices to ensure consistency, usability, and maintainability.
- Platform Configuration : Configure and customize the Apigee platform to implement API proxies, policies, security mechanisms, and traffic management strategies.
- Integration : Integrate Apigee with backend systems, cloud services, and external APIs to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability.
- Security : Implement security controls, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and threat protection, to secure APIs and protect sensitive data.
- Performance Optimization : Optimize API performance and latency, monitor API usage and health metrics, and implement caching and rate limiting mechanisms to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Governance and Compliance : Establish governance processes and controls for API lifecycle management, versioning, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- DevOps Integration : Implement DevOps practices and automation tools to streamline API deployment, testing, monitoring, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
- Documentation : Create comprehensive API documentation, including API specifications, developer guides, and usage examples, to facilitate adoption and integration by internal and external developers.
- Training and Enablement : Provide training, mentoring, and technical support to development teams, architects, and stakeholders on Apigee platform capabilities, best practices, and use cases.
