Table 985, an exciting new upscale casual restaurant in Conneaut, OH, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team at You'll play a vital role in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, working under the guidance of our experienced chefs. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have a passion for creating delicious food, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with inventory and restocking.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff.
- Follow instructions from the chef and sous chef.
Requirements:
- Previous line cook experience in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Valid food handler's permit (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
